Prof. Kennedy A. Alatinga

Professor Kennedy A. Alatinga is an Associate Professor of Social Policy and Health Protection. Currently, he serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Planning and Land Management at SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies in Ghana. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in South Africa. Additionally, he earned an MPA (cum laude) from UWC and an MA in International Development Management from Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.

Prof. Alatinga also has several other qualifications, including certificates in Public Policy Analysis from the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance in the Netherlands, Policy Communication from the Population Reference Bureau in Washington, D.C., USA, Academic Writing from the Africa Study Center at the University of Michigan, USA, and a Certificate in Population and Development from Brown University, USA.

Prof. Alatinga is a distinguished researcher with expertise in health policy and planning. His work addresses critical issues, including maternal and child health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and the intersection of migration and health. Additionally, he explores social protection initiatives, such as cash transfers, and brings extensive experience in international development evaluation.
